Since the beginning of this year, the export of Weichai products has gained momentum. From January to April, Weichai Import & Export Co., Ltd.’s self-export foreign exchange earning amounted to 18.34 million US dollars, an increase of 28.45% year-on-year; of which Weichai products exported 7.86 million US dollars, an increase of 61.89% year-on-year. In particular, in April, Weichai’s product exports reached 2.55 million U.S. dollars, which accounted for more than 50% of the total foreign exchange earned for the first time in the month. Weichai’s product exports showed a strong trend.
Judging from the export situation in the first four months of this year, several markets have gradually matured in the sales of Weichai products. Among them, the Turkish market has formed a large volume of exports, monthly shipments maintained at more than 300,000 US dollars; the Iranian market WD615 series of diesel engines have formed a stable volume; Sudan market, the Indian market, South Africa market 226B diesel engine exports have also formed a scale, The WD615 series diesel engine has also entered this market and has become a new growth point for the export of Weichai products.
In the traditional market, such as Vietnam and Bangladesh, the export of Weichai products from January to April has also achieved very good results, with foreign exchange earnings of US$1.91 million and US$760,000 respectively. In addition, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other Eastern European markets also have very large market potential. The projects currently being negotiated are proceeding smoothly and the export volume will be very considerable.
